Sorry for all the posts! Just have some time this morning so trying to sort some things out!
My husband's insurance covers infertility treatments up to $5k. If I was to go on his insurance would infertility be considered a preexisting condition?
Also, since his covers infertility, does that mean testing relating to him SAs, other things I can't think of, would be covered?
Thanks soo much!
Re: Is infertility a preexisting condition?
My insurance considered it a prexisting condition, but if you had insurance for 90 days prior to enrollment in their plan, prexisting conditions are covered.
My ins carrier does have a stipulation that after 90 days, 6 months, 1 year (whatever their choice) they will begin to cover those prexisting conditions if you did not have ins prior to their coverage.
I hope that made sense.
