Is it really yeast?

I put the cream on DS just now for his bedtime change just in case.  But, he's still red though not as badly, bumps have subsided.  The blister is back though at his urethra opening.  Would that still be yeast?  It took forever to get the last blister to heal with Weleda cream.  This blister is just starting.  I don't get it.  He hasn't had anything super acidic.  He's had yogurt the past couple days.  I'm at a loss.  I can't take seeing him not his happy self for diaper changes.  He usually likes them because we play games.  And he's not up for play during the changes.

  • And if I switch to PF's and wool will I have this issue as frequently with the blister?  It's been happening a lot the past 3-4 months.  I know if I go to the pedi they will tell me to never use CD's. :-P

  • Could be a combo of yeast and heat rash.

If Saxton wears PUL too often, he breaks out.  I have the best luck w/ natural fibers and wool.

I'm sorry you're still having such a rough time with his CDs.  :(

  • Jenni, the funny thing is is that these issues really only started 3-4 months ago.  Up until then I only on very rare occasion just had detergent buildup which was easily taken care of.  And now it seems like it's one thing after the other.  He's spent more time in sposies this summer than cloth.  It's incredibly frustrating and angering.
  • i might be inclined to agree with jenni with it being from the heat...especially if it just started 3-4 months ago (the beginning of summer)

    hope you figure it out
