Hello all!
I'm excited to have found this board. DH and I are just starting down the infertility treatment road.
Quick summary:
June 2004: Married DH
October 2004: Suffer pulmonary embolism. No more birth control pills for me!
July 2006: Move to Hawaii with DH, stop "trying not to get pregnant"
May 2008: Start "trying" (BBT charting, etc.)
June 2009: First appointment with RE
July 2009: HSG shows uterine polyp and dilated but open fallopian tubes. DH's sperm count is below normal (13 M/mL)
August 2009: Saline sonogram confirms uterine polyp. DH starts taking "nasty" vitamins to boost sperm count.
Now: I'm waiting for the RE's office to schedule me for a hysteroscopy/laparoscopy. The hysteroscopy will remove the polyp. The laparoscopy will check for endometriosis (I have pain and diarrhea with AF) and give the RE another look at my tubes.
After that, it's on to IUI (if my tubes look good) or IVF (if they suck).
Hugs to all,
Sky
