I started ww on tuesday and i need to lose alot of weight..about 70lbs. to be in a good BMI range. I know that is not realistic at all by nov-jan. So i put my goal at 15 to 20. I thought id start low and make it attainable and then go from there...do you think 20 is realistic for this time frame? If i follow ww to a T and workout 5 days a week then i've averaged in the past about 1-2lbs a week..

Between 1 - 2 lbs per week is very reasonable and if you drop a bigger number during your first week like most people do on ww then you'll hit your goal sooner at which point you can re-adjust. For me personally it's better for me to hit and beat a lower goal then to set my expectations too high and feel like I failed.

FWIW it has taken me a little less than 4 months to loose 16 pounds.
I have not been uber strict this summer and went away twice, so I am sure I could be down about 20 by now.
I think you could do 20 easily.
