Just got a phone call.
Due to being sick, we couldn't go to the open house/registration for the preschool class through the homeschool co-op we want to join. I sent an email this morning letting the lady I'd been emailing with that we wouldn't be able to make it. She said no big deal, call at one and she'll save us 2 spots for Ethan and Bella. I call at one, no answer. She just called back, had forgotten her phone at home, and she doesn't think there are any spots left now. If there is, it's only one spot.
This is the only co-op that I'm interested in joining. It's not religiously affiliated and from what I know, the best one around. I really didn't want to go and spread our germs today, but now I'm mad that I didn't go by myself anyway. Someone else is supposed to call me and let me know if there are any spots at all, but I'm beyond bummed that we missed out on it this year.

I'd be livid. So sorry!!
Well, there are only 8 spots for preschoolers per class, and most go all day apparently (which is what we were going to do). And it's only $30/year, so unless people have to go back to work, I don't think the economy is going to affect that!
Aw, I hope they find a way to get you in! How did you find this thing, anyway? Sounds great--I've never heard of doing that.

Anyway, crisis averted. She apparently had it all wrong, and talked to someone else and there are spots for Ethan and Bella.
