desperate times calls for

desperate measures LOL. I am considering acupuncture.  Has anyone ever done this. I was reading that it can help with fertility. 

Also after my CD 1 meltdown yesterday on the nest...thank you ladies for cheering me up, and my meltdown at home I came home today to a dozen roses. DH felt so bad for my horrific day yesterday that he thought he would try and cheer me up...it worked : )

    Yup... I have been doing it for 2 years now.

    I have no baby yet, but I do enjoy going.

    Yep, I've been doing it for a few months now.  It's probably best if you can connect with someone that specializes in IF, then they can develop a plan specifically for your needs. GL!

    Aww what a sweet Dh. I did acupuncture with IVF#1 this time around I'm doing weekly massages, since it's a frozen cycle and no big ovaries!

    Me too, I love acupuncture, it relaxes and calms, I have been doing it for over a year and it is great for side effects from IF meds as well as general well being.
    H: 34 dx Azoospermia due to CBAVD from CF  
    ME: 39 IS FINE!!!  DOR and poor AMH/FSH/LH

    I have been doing acupuncture as well and I seemed to respond better to the Clomid when I went regularly vs just going when I could so I am sticking to it. Also my aunt had great success with going after years of IF with no luck she went to acupuncture with no meds and finally had a little boy so I am definitely a believer. Good Luck

    I definitely think it is worth a shot. The majority of people love it and do derive some benefit, even if it is just relaxation. I loved my 1st appointment, I walked out of there extremely relaxed. However, I hated every appointment afterwards and only lasted 7 weeks, but I think my experience is unusual.

    Check and see if your insurance covers any part of it or if they offer a discount.  Some insurance companies do. 

    I started doing acupuncture 3 months ago and did my 1st cycle of IVF this month.  If anything, it definitely relaxes me.  Not sure if it has helped with my IVF cycle but I did respond quite well to the stimming meds.  We'll see in a few weeks if this 1st cycle of IVF was a success or not.
