Hi ladies! I just wanted to say hello. I'm happy I found this board this morning; I'm already a Mom of one, and just turned 35 last month, but I'm a bit overwhelmed by some of the things "pregnant women over 35" should be aware of, etc.
I'm hoping to learn more about all of this and welcome any thoughts/advice. (The NP I saw was very adamant about me getting certain tests done this time around b/c of being 35; the nurse, on the other hand, told me not to feel pressured into it.)
Anyway, hello!
Re: New to the board...
congrats! You've got quite the handsome boy!
Don't feel pressure into getting any testing you're not comfortable with. You'll find that some ladies here go through all the testing available, and a lot will do nothing additional or just minimal additional testing. It can be overwhelming at first - a lot will depend on your family health history too.
Welcome! You're a young one here There are many of us 40+ gals too. This is a great board. Glad to have you here.

Ok, I'm laughing at being the youngest here....LOL! I'm 10.5 weeks along, due March 22.
And thanks for the compliments on my son; I think he's a cutie too and a great kid overall!
Welcome! Wishing you the best for a H&H 9months!
