Can stress cause cramping?

I'm sitting here about in tears.  Not because of the cramping though.

I've mentioned before about my children going to live with their dad.  They started school today.  I've never not been there for this.  

I've called 2 times to find out how their day went.  I get voicemail.  They won't call back.  The same thing happened last night.

I hate my ex.  He doesn't give a rats ass if they talk to me or not.  

Now I am in tears but as I was thinking about all of this I started having some cramps.  Just wondering if stress can trigger those?

    it's possible, but cramping is normal anyway.  i hope you're able to rest tonight and that your munchkins call you soon!

    The stress is not good for you right now.......please take a deep breath and try not to stress your children will call you and everything will be ok. "Woosah" those negative feelings he's not worth you getting stressed about!

    Things always have a way of working themselves out!

    I hope you got to talk to them!  Man, your ex sounds like a total poop-head.  I hope your cramps are better?
