Morning ladies!!
I'm finally able to sit in front of my computer as my bedrest restrictions have finally been lifted and I can have a little more freedom for the next few weeks....hoping to build up my jelloey legs so I'm not exhausted after climbing a set of stairs!!
Sprout has decided that he/she would rather be standing up, head in ribs than laying heads down like a good little baby should be
They offered an inversion but with all the problems I've had during this pregnancy I really don't want to take any more chances and possibly put the baby in any kind of ditress resulting in an emergency c-section. We've done the exercises she recommended but they don't seem to have done much. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Thursday and if he/she hasn't turned by then we will be scheduling a date to have the baby.
Hope all is well with you ladies, I'll be able to be on a bit more and can enjoy posting replies instead of just being a lurker on my phone!! Happy Tuesday!
Re: Possible C-Section =(
Good Luck...there is hope!! My DD was breech the entire PG and we had a c-section scheduled for 38 weeks...I went in for my checkup in my 37th week and somewhere between 36-37 weeks she turned. I never felt a darn thing..so I was shocked.
Hope you have the same good luck!!!
I hope LO cooperates and turns around!!
BTW - Congrats on getting off of bedrest. Its good to have you back!
Hopefully your baby will cooperate with you!
I've had 2 c-sections. The 2nd was much easier because I didn't labor any. I found the sooner you can move around the easier the recovery is.
I'll have a 3rd c-section with this baby.
GL,,,Do whatever you can do to get the baby to move. I had many exercises for DD #1 and she did turn the day before we were scheduled for a c. I had a vaginal with her and 5 days ago I had a c section --It is much worse of a recovery. I feel like a truck ran me over. GL and I hope that there is still time for the baby to move :0)
same here. hold out hope for turning, but know if it doesn't happen, c-section is a safe option.
ditto - I hope for you that LO turns, but a c/s section is not the end of the world. I don't regret having mine at all. It's true what they say, the quicker you get out of bed and move around, the better & quicker your recovery will be. GL!

GL! I hope LO turns, but a happy, healthy baby with a nice round head is nice too
Everyone is right about the recovery - get moving as soon as possible.
