::tears:: I have the most AMAZING SIL!

I may not be blessed with a beautiful child of my own, but one thing is for sure, I am blessed with an amazing family!

My SIL just sent me an email to call her at work because she wants to talk to me about something.  I should note here that neither she nor I are really "talkers".  I don't chit-chat on the phone so we really only talk when DH and I are visiting his parents in NY so for her to ask me to call, I thought it was something serious (maybe concerning my niece or her job.)  Well, when I called her the first thing she said was my MIL told her about our BFN (our immediate families have been in the loop with everything from the beginning) and she offered her condolences.  Then, she offers to be a surrogate if we want one!  She was so sincere and I could tell she had given it a lot of thought and was getting emotional.  I was so touched!  I can't believe how generous she is!  I started to well-up, so I could barely answer her other than say "Thank you, thank you."

Unfortunately, a surrogate is not what we need.  I couldn't tell her that though.  I told her we were going to take things one step at a time and we'd definitely keep her offer in mind.

But seriously, it's days like this and people like my SIL that make me so thankful for the things I do have rather than sorry for the things I don't have!
