Sex and IVF cycle ? (DD pic in siggy)

This may be a real stupid question but is sex allowed at all during and IVF cycle? I thought I read somewhere, at least for IUIs, that more than 72 hours between ejaculations is not good so I am wondering if this holds true for an IVF cycle? I have my IVF class tomorrow so I will ask the nurse too but I figured I would ask her first.

    My doctor suggested not sex after trigger (to allow sperm to build up) then until after ET (to allow my body to heal from ER)
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    No sex after trigger and then a little rest after ET.  But since I am on vaginal suppositories I don't want him anywhere near that...it is nasty. So we haven't had sex since right before trigger.  Poor DH.

    No sex after trigger, and you can't resume sex until after beta #1. It's about a 2 week period.

    TTC #1 since 2007. Dx: Unexplained infertility. 4 IUIs in 2008 = BFN. IVF #1 07/09. DD #1 born April 2010 (40w5d).
    TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2  born March 2014 (40w1d).

    I was told no sex from Stim Day 8 until after beta or was it ultrasound?  I sure hope it was beta. 
    H: 34 dx Azoospermia due to CBAVD from CF

    My RE told us pelvic rest(no sex or orgasms) from after trigger through first beta. Poor DH, didn't like hearing that!
