No coldcuts...so...

is chicken okay?  I mean things like chicken salad, chicken gyro, grilled chicken wrap.  I'm in the city today and I feel like I'm surrounded by ham, turkey, roast beef!!  Bacon is okay, right? 

I'm trying to refrain from the cheeseburger that is calling my name...and the fries!!

    My doctor said cold cuts are fine, just to be sure to get it from a reputable deli you are familiar with. If you are still uncomfortable with it, microwave it for 30 seconds.

    Chicken is fine and I would opt for grilled varieties like the gyro or wrap, just because I prefer white meat and I wouldn't know if the chicken salad was dark meat or came from a can with a lot of sodium and because it has mayo.  But that's just me trying to watch calories too!  I don't eat the chicken deli meats though, mainly because of the sodium and nitrates.

    Thanks ladies!  I laughed at my use of 'coldcuts'....that is what my Mom used to call it...I am thinking nowadays it's 'deli meat'.  SamK213 are you getting ready for stims?  I think you start Saturday...I forget are you on long lupron?  GL girl!

    I do start on Sat!  Stopped the bcp on Tues night!  I'm not on long lupron this time, doing ganirelix instead to change things up!
