Talk to your OB, but the general consesus is yes. They are usually recommended because pregnant women are at elevated risk for complications from the flu.
I asked my doc about this when I went Tuesday.... she said Yes and they offer them through their office. My work offers them free though, I've never got one in the past but I may this year just so I don't get sick.
I talked to my midwife about this yesterday. She suggested I have the regular flu shot and the H1N1 shot when it is available. However, they won't have the shots until Oct and I'm due this month but she will give me both shots in Oct. She said it was very important for breastfeeding as well because nursing the baby will allow antibodies to help the baby fight any flu.
They are generally safe. However, if they're doing them at your office, they might refuse to give you one because you're pregnant. You may have to obtain a note from your OB saying that you can get one. You might want to check in to that.
