PIP and a question about prune juice and pooping

D had 2 oz of gerber prune juice this morning and about 2-3 oz of diluted apple juice last night. When can I expect him to poop? (a ballpark figure)

    Whoa thats a lot of juice!  I would say any second.. and its not going to be pretty.

    We gave our daughter 1oz of prune juice/day in a 4oz bottle of formula.. and she usually had her massive explosion within 3-4 hours.

    I gave DD prunes for breakfast yesterday around 7:15 and she EXPLODED around 5:30 last night.  Oh. Em. Eff. Gee.

    Dude, make sure he's in dark clothes because the crap she had yesterday... I think she passed one of the horsemen of the Apocalypse.  It was insane.

    how much and how often do you give prunes? i am thinking about giving my lo a bit each day to try to keep him a bit more regular. right now he is pooping every other day or so and they are massive explosions! we have had to toss a couple of onesies in the last 4 days! i was thinking maybe it would help him to have maybe one smaller one a day.

    That's A LOT of juice! lol Our pedi recommended to do it (1oz juice to 1oz water) in the afternoon in order for something to happen before bedtime...so it should happen soon.

    The first time Mady didn't poop I gave her 3 ozs of undiluted pear juice. She went 4 hours later.

    When DD needs to and hasn't for a few days I give her an oz of undiluted apple prune juice in the evening and she usually goes the next morning. But I was so proud- she pooped all on her own yesterday!  yay!  I never thought someone else's poop would make me so happy or that I would worry about it so much.
