Which hospital did you deliver at?

My DH and I are currently shopping around for a new OB/GYN, but only certain docs have priviledges at certain hospitals.  I suppose we need to choose a hospital before we choose the doctor.  Any suggestions?  I hear Banner Good Sam is great.

    I'm delivering at St. Joe's.  I go in Sunday to start my induction (baby has severe IUGR and has to come early).  I'm biased because I work there.  I love the nurses and I love my ob.  I had the choice of delivering at SJH or Good Sam and I'd choose SJH over again if I had to, even though I don't get as much privacy because I'm an ob resident and all the nurses and other residents were constantly visiting when I was admitted before.  I know a lot of the policies of the MFM's at Good Sam and they were not for me, plus I didn't feel comfortable not knowing the nurses and delivering with "different" residents.  But that's me.  I think we give great care to everyone, but I said I was biased so....

    I had my 1st child at St. Josephs  over 6 years ago and it was okay. It was nice. The nurses were great especially since I was only 18. Very comforting and patient.

    As for my others and this one now... I delivered at Banner Estrella! I LOOOOOOVED it. It's way west valley though. Again not sure where you're at. I hear the Banner hospitals are all great! And I won't deliver anywhere else than Banner Estrella. 

    My friend just had a baby girl last week and Good Sams and she loved her experience with them. HTH!
