Keeping baby cool

What do you do to keep your baby cool when it's hot inside.  Our A/C just stopped working and the guy can't get here until Friday.  It's 80 in our house.  It's hotter outside so opening the windows won't help. We have fans going, but it's still super hot.  I don't want LO to melt.

    Have her sleep in nothing but a diaper and on a cool sheet (not a jersery cotton sheet. Do you know what I'm talking about?) and have a fan going in her general direction. 

    During the day put wet cloths on her neck, back and head.  Not COLD, but cool and wet.  Thats what we do when we have her outside and its hot.  It really does the trick.  SHe calms right down. 

    Where do you live?  Is it going to cool down at night?

    I live in Oregon.  It will cool down in a few hours.  But now it's hot.  I miss my a/c.
