Tonight we just shared our IF journies with one another and talked about doctors, acupuncturists, yoga, etc in our area. The meeting was an hour and half and it felt like 15 minutes- for me, it was really good to talk face to face about my IF issues as I find it very difficult to go into too much depth with family and friends.
They also have specialty meetings from time to time that cover topics such as donor eggs, adoption, genetics, etc. The meetings are just once a month and I plan to attend as often as I can.
Also, Mid-Atlantic Resolve chapter is having a large symposium on Sept 12 in DC if anyone is interested. My DH and I are planning on attending and hoping to come back with more info about this whole process.
Thanks for the info! I just checked and we do have a local chapter, I will have to keep it in mind! I agree....talking about it in person with people that understand would be very...freeing!
I've been going to Resolve meetings and have been finding them really helpful. I was nervous at first, but now it just feels good to be able to talk. Best wishes to you!
