does your RE do b2b IUI (clicky poll)

There have been a few mentions of this on the board recently but when I asked my RE about doing back to back IUIs since my tubes were so long, I was literally told that it was "old school" and they don't do that anymore.  I don't see how it could not be a good thing!  Just curious. . .

Re: does your RE do b2b IUI (clicky poll)

  • I don't know how to vote b/c my first 3 were single and my 4th/5th was back 2 back.  So, yes and no.  :)

  • same here.  they do, but didn't do it for me.  They normally do it for when there is a male factor
  • I said No. I had 5 IUIs with my old RE and they were just single shots. My new RE didn't mention doing back to back. We have slight MFI.

  • Mine did because my counts were low (4 mil @ IUI #1 and 6 mill @ IUI #2).  They not only recommended it for us, but very strongly encouraged us to do it.  Thankfully they did, because the B2B IUIs finally did the trick!
  • I switched REs mid-cycle and the new RE said with MFI he always does B2B because it can be such a big difference in spem numbers day after day. My first two were single...hope B2B was the trick.
