My mom was in a bad car accident today :-(

She was on her way to my house and some psycho came flying through a stop sign and plowed into her so hard he flipped her car over. They had to use the jaws of life to get her out. She is amazingly, miraculously okay. She's very very sore but no serious injuries...she gets to go home tonight. I am thanking any gods that are listening that's she's alright.

The Hyundai Elantra gets my seal of approval for crash ratings...

yikes and whew. I am glad she is okay. Tell her to go to the dr even if she is just sore. He can prescribe physical therapy which will help her mend.

omg... I am so so so glad she's okay. My mom had to get pried from her car with the jaws of life when I was 13. She's ok now but she almost didn't make it. It's really a miracle. I'm so glad that your mom's accident had a miraculous outcome, too.

like a pp said, she should def. go to a doctor, especially if her back is sore. My dh was in an accident a couple of years ago, where his car flipped, and he had back pain, and now 4 years later, he's still dealing with 3 herniated disks.... the whack state doctor he saw sent him back to work... long story.

anyway, huge ((hugs)) to your mom!
