Sex after C-Sec.? Sorry TMI!

I just want to start out by saying that I in no way, shape or form want to have "regular" vaginal sex right now and I do plan on waiting the 6 weeks for that. I am only 2 weeks past having a c-sec. and I am way to sore and my incision is not totally healed yet....BUT....I am in the mood for as little "something." So here is my question...Is it okay to orgasm from outer stimulation, no penetration. Will that do any harm? I am seriously too embarrassed to ask my Dr. I know I should be a big girl and just call, but if someone here has had experience with this then you could save me the trouble. FWIW, it was an uncomplicated c-sec.

i didn't have sex until after the 6 week check up (and for me it was bad, bad, bad for a couple of months still

) ..but for whatever reason i was totally in the mood around that same time..about 2 weeks pp..and the boys were still in the hospital..so yep..we fooled around, and I O'd..a few times i think

i had no problems..not sure if its okay medically..but i didn't have a prob

I wouldnt think it was a problem since the concern w/ vaginal sex is about introducing bacteria/infection, not related to orgasm or anything?

I'm just impressed- I had a c/s 2 1/2 weeks ago & this is very far from my mind . Doesnt help that MH & I are not ever together for long enough to do that anyway since he's back at work & we each take 5 hr shifts overnight to do the twins' feedings!

To be honest I'm impressed too! Lol. I think it makes a difference though that we don't have twins, not that having one is easy either, but she has also basically STTN since we brought her home. She only wakes up once a night to eat at 3am, so I get a lot of sleep before she wakes up and we are both back asleep by 3:30 with her fed and changed and rocked back to sleep....We are very lucky that she is such a good sleeper. My mom said I was the same way and STTN completely by two weeks.

I think it will be fine. Trust your gut and stop if it is painful.

I dont think so- there can still be bacteria & other 'foreign' things on the condom & your cervix may still be dilated so to me it would not be worth the risk.

We did the deed 4 wks pp because I was dying for a little something!!! I figured since I didnt have any vaginal trauma or anything like that that i would be ok. So my vote is that a little something would be ok.
