NBR: Last night in french, we learned "straddle"

The professor is French and his English is quite limited.  So he was trying to explain this concept of "? califourchon" which refers to straddling something like a chair or a tree but none of us knew the word, so he was forced to try to explain it to us until someone came up with the English.

It was very amusing.
