I was randomly googling fun website and came across this comment from a kid:

"face book has a suroity life (spelled that wrong sorry) game once you sine up that is pritty much pointless but its funn. you battle people. and get things like cars, boats, outfits and money. ect..."

Maybe a lttle less time on FB and little more time on spelling would be in order.

I understand. I yelled at some teens outside of a CVS not too long ago for acting like a bunch of punks. I told them they make me scared to have children. Grrr! They made me so angry!

You might be talking about Idiocracy with Luke Wilson. It was about the same type of thing. You can actually see how it's happening like the movie. Names of restaurants and stores are changing to be slang. Like Pizza Hut becoming The Hut or Radio Shack is The Shack. Dumb.

that's really unfortunate. i always lol when i see ect. i wonder if people actually know what the full word is, surely not if they can't get the first 3 letters right.

This! Most people dont have a clue about what the real word is (latin: et cetera, fyi). It really annoys me.

There is a movie it's called Idiocracy (sp?) starring Luke wilson. DH owns it, it was amusing but I could see that being true....
