bloody show vs. spotting after internal (maybe TMI)

I'm sure this has been asked, but I googled it and not getting much definite answers. I just had another internal and my doc stripped my membranes again this morning. I just went to the bathroom and had a decent amount of blood in the toilet and a lot when I wiped. Last week after my internal and membranes stripped I only had a very small amount of spotting, nothing like this. Not sure to think if this could have been my bloody show or just write it off as a lot of spotting.

    Most likely it is just a lot of spotting.  If it is bright red or filling a pad, then you should call the dr.  You may be having more spotting because your cervix is softer than it was the last time.

    I'm not sure.  My first internal at 36 weeks, I had very very minimal spotting.  Yesterday was my second internal and boy I spotted for over 24 hours.  It is just a little red blood at the beginning and eventually turns brown.  I have not experienced stripping membranes so I can't answer your situation 100%.

    I don't have any experience with this... but my doc told me yesterday after my internal that some light spotting is normal as long as it isn't as heavy as period bleeding.  Might as well call and ask!
