Really don't like Dora

Random, but I am so glad DD is not in to Dora the Explorer.  THAT MAP SONG!!!  OMG!  It's awful!  I thoguth it was a joke at first.

I'll stick with Mickey and Handy Manny.

    I feel like all Dora does is yell.  She doesn't talk in a normal voice. 

    I've also noticed that Go Diego Go is essentially the same show.

    Thankfully DD doesn't like Dora either.  Actually she only likes PBS right now and only Sesame Street and Clifford.  I can handle that.

    i love dora. i hated it when aidan was younger, but now she has so much fun answering them, figuring out problems, learning colors/shapes that i adore it.

    Dora and Diego talk to much.  I don't like them either.  We watched it once months ago and now I just change the channel before it comes on. 

    I feel the same about Max and Ruby.  Ruby just seems to go on and on and on...

    Ditto. I hate feeling like they're shouting all the time. We like Blue's Clues, Handy Manny, and Yo Gabba Gabba.

    I hate Dora as well.  I LOVE Max and Ruby though ... Max cracks me up, when gets upset and just glares at Ruby, lol.  LOVE IT.

    Max and Ruby have the same sort of dynamic I had with my little brother when were elementary aged. It makes me laugh EVERY TIME.

    We just went to a Dora themed 2 year old birthday party and all of the kids talk just like her!  I am all for shows that teach, but there is going to be a Dora speech epidemic soon!

    DS loves Handy Manny.  I prefer that to Dora.  Our house is bilingual and I think Handy Manny does a better job in teaching thank Dora.  Anytime the tools song comes on, he stops what he is doing and starts dancing.

    Oh what the hell do you know, you let your kid wear hooker boots.  lol. 

    I agree it probably isn't the best show for KIDS, but I find it hilarious.  Jack really doesn't watch it until Moose A. Moose comes on for the commercials anyways.

    I actually like Dora - I couldn't stand watching her all day.  But a few shows are cool with me.  I love DD is now getting to the point she will answer back to some stuff.  I think they do repeat stuff a lot - but that is how they learn.  DD is a HUGE Dora fan.

    This- I biitch to DH at least once a week about every one of these points. Unfortunately, it is on right after Ni Hao Kailan, which is DS's fave show ever and we always end up watching at least part of it.

    Max & Ruby is my least favorite show of all.  Ruby is always annoyed with her brother "MAAaaaaaxxx!!  Nooooo".  Ugh, shoot me.
