Infertility

Good Lord, I'm in pain

Yes I'm awake at 4:15 am b/c I rolled over. My freaking leg is killing me from the PIO. I can't stand to put weight on it and just called in sick for the first time in 4 years. Going to try to hobble into see my family doc. Doubt there's anything they can do, but I'll need a work excuse anyway. Thanks for listening. ((sigh))

  • oh i hope you feel better.  sorry to hear you are in pain.

have you tried putting ice on the injection site?  are you allowed to take benadryl and some tylenol. benadryl is for the swelling and tylenol for the pain.

I always do ice first and heat after. Right now I'm doing heat in a futile attempt to help with absorption. This is from Mon. night's inject. Decided to go back to the hip for last night's. Definitely taking 2 tylenol every 4-6 hrs. Might try the benadryl, too. Wasn't sure it was safe to take if I were pg. Thanks for the well wishes, ladies.

  • That's terrible!  And it seems like something isn't right to be in that much pain. I hope the doc can figure out what to do to make you feel better!
