Not TTCA35: update on Vinny

Update for those of you who were around when my poor dag was attacked by another dog:

All his stitches are out!!! Yaay! We had our last appt today and he is now free of his e-collar!!! He will definitley have quite a scar on his ear and it is a little deformed, but he is still cute as ever and is all sprawled out on his bed now that his "lampshade" is off!!!

He came out of the back of the vet's office all exicted without it...it was like he was saying "look mommy...it's off...it's off...Yaay!!!"

    Yay Vinny!  I'm glad that he's all better.  Did you ever find out what happened with the other dog?

    You'll have to keep the collar and decorate it like a fancy lamp shade for Halloween.  I would recommend that VInny goes as the lamp rather than you or dh though.

    Yea for Vinny!  So nice when the lampshade comes off!  Did you take a photo?  I don't know why but it always strikes me as cute when a dog has one on (especially when they have a pathetic look on their face)!

    Glad Vinny is all recovered.  I don't think you have to worry about any dogs messing with him now.  He will look like a tough guy with that scar.  The other dogs will be scared of him. :)

    So happy to hear that Vinny is all better.

    Aren't they pathetic with that lamp shade thing on.  When we had our Doberman neutered, the vet didn't give him the lamp shade, rather this thick cape thing that went around his neck and covered his torso...it looked like a cape.  We called him Super Sherman.
