IUI Question

Is the IUI does the day before O or the day of O?

I'm calculating due to starting to spot today that my O date will be around the 9th of Sept. And with the 7th being a Holiday I'm thinking they would do it the 8th.. the day before.

    i always used a trigger.    so i would O 36 hours after trigger.       but my IUIs were done approximately 24 hours after the trigger.    so the same day, just 12 hours earlier.

    your dr should do an ultrasound/bloodwork to tell you when to trigger to time O within 36 hrs of trigger and IUI.

    I triggered on a Thursday night, had IUI on Saturday morning. I actually have no idea if I had ovulated before or after IUI but I hope it was just in time...still waiting for results.

    the goal is for the same day as O, but a few hours before - if possible.
