Does your LO crash after day care?

So DD started day care yesterday and they said that she didn't really nap except for a couple of 15 minute power naps.  I wasn't surprised because she likes to nap either on me or in her swing and neither one of us were at day care with her.  When we got home she was a little fussy and then passed out for about 30 mins.  Typically we don't let her sleep past 6 so that she'll go down and sleep better at night but she seemed so tired yesterday that I just went with it.

Does your LO take a post-day care nap every day?  Have you found that it messes with their sleeping/routine at night?  TIA!

    DS started daycare last week and his naps have been all over the place there.  The last two days he hardly napped.  He crashes in the car on the way home but unfortunately wakes up when we get in the garage and has been basically refusing to go down for a nap after that.  Yesterday I just let him nurse and fall asleep on the boppy and I just sat with him.  His night sleeping has pretty much been the same though, even though he's getting so much less during the day.  I'm hoping he'll adjust to napping at daycare eventually.  : )

    Normally DS doesnt nap welll at daycare, the days he doesnt he does crash as soon as he gets home, sometimes for an hour.

    I'm only on day 3 of day care but YES, she crashed for much of the afternoon (I'm only doing half-days this week). Her first night after day care she STTN for the first time ever, and last night she slept for 6+ hours.

    So, for us, so far it has NOT messed with her night time sleep and in fact has improved it. But again, we're only on day 3. Ask me in a week, or after she's been there all day instead of only 5 hours.
