Provera ladies - a question

I was diagnosed with PCOS in early August and I have not had my period since Feb. The RE put me on Met and Provera to help bring around my period. I am on day 5 of Provera and I am feeling like I have some cramps (which is making me REALLY happy!). Anyone else feel/felt like this? I was told that I should not expect my period until a couple weeks after finishing the two week dose. Anyone get cramps while taking Provera or even start their period before finishing the two weeks?

    Yes - the first round of provera I took I got my period 2 days before the last pill. That hasn't happened to me since. While I don't know for sure, I think some believe when you get it before the pills are finished, you would probably have gotten it then anyway (again - I don't know for sure though).

    I have no idea. My doc only put me on a 5 day dose, though, so the fact that you're showing signs of getting it in 5 days is encouraging for me.

    I am always given a 5 day dose.  usually get AF within a week of the last pill.  however, just recently I waited three weeks

    When I've used it to induce a period, AF would come 3-5 days after the last pill.

    I've taken provera twice and they were both for 10 days and AF came exactly 5 days after the last pill.

    I took it for 14 days my first time and got AF a few days before my last pill
