OHSS Q

I am on day 4 of stims and I feel so full, bloated, and crampy... I am going to the RE tomorrow morning but if I were to have OHSS, would I get it around this time or closer to ER? ugh, I just feel so uncomfortable....

    I didn't get mine until trigger, which was after 8 days of stims.

    Bloated, full and crampy are all pretty normal.  Hang in there!


    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    thanks for the reassurance.. I was starting to get freaked out! I envision my ovaries looking like baseballs inside, lol

    right now, Tylenol and a heating pad are my best friends, ((sigh))

    I wish I could tell you it was going to get better, but you'll get even more uncomfortable as the days go on.  I am sure your RE will be monitoring your E2 levels to watch out for OHSS, but it wouldn't hurt to let him/her know how you are feeling.  GL!

    According to my schedule he gave me.. I go in tomorrow for an ultrasound/bloodwork and then he said probably daily after that.. not sure if it's daily till the ER which is mid next week.... this all feels surreal...

    it's just hard @ work to put on a happy face when I feel so uncofortable.. I wish I could live in PJ pants for the next few weeks! but.. hopefully it will all be worth it in the long run.....

    I remember walking around work hunched over when I had OHSS.  People were staring at me wondering WTH was going on. 

    Elastic-waisted skirts are your friend!

    I felt pretty crappy as soon as I started stims, but they never worried about OHSS with me.  They said the ganirelex kept it at bay but I'd have to watch it after trigger Maybe that varies with protocols if you're not doing an antagonist?

    Also, I got so sore I couldn't lay on my side, and they said I could take Tylenol PM.
