When did your DD get her first haircut? Abigail's hair is so long and gets in her eyes. I use hairbows to pull it out of her face, but she always pulls it out. So I'm thinking its going to be time to get a haircut soon...at least the front.

Re: Mom's of girls
Hey Amanda!!! How are you? I cannot believe Abigail (and Cristain, hi Stef!) are about to be 1. Anyway, just wanted to tell you we had the same dilemma last year right before Kate turned 1. We had this hairstyle for only a few months, then she let a bow stay in. Now she's a bow head and I can do pony tails, pig tails, etc and she tolerates everything. I was really opposed to bangs on her though cause I loved to see her whole face
see what we did last year?

I just keep putting the bow in over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Eventually she just give up.
But I will say that some bows are better than others just incase you haven't tried different ones.
I really wish I could put bows in Macy's hair
She doesn't have much hair in the front but a full mullet in the back. So at 13 months she got her first haircut by my mom who is a hairstylist. She just got some of the bulk from the back out so it looked alittle even with the front.
Ava got her 1st one a few months ago. But just to trim up the ends and neaten it up. No bangs. She's been wearing clips and hair accessories for a such a long time that she pretty much leaves it alone. She hates for her hair to be in her eyes.
You can use those very small elastic rubber bands made for kids. They are nearly impossible to pull out.
