Well, not the actual commercial as it is not of yet being shown here in the US...

But... I have seen a bunch of news coverage surrounding it.

Yeah, it was graphic and sad, but hopefully it will get the point across.

Texting while driving is an accident waiting to happen and I don't think teenagers, just by telling them that, don't quite get it. Hopefully, if they see that commercial it will sink in.

OMG, it really does get the point across. I know I have been guilty of that and DH is guilty. I made him watch it this morning. I will def. think again before texting while driving.

I must be the worlds biggest spaz as it has never occured to me to text while driving.

I just know I would cause an accident instantly! ( I am a horrible texter... quite possibly a pretty bad driver, too!)

I wish they would use it here. It is illegal in my state to text and drive. It is a primary offense. Sometimes I think if kids would see what they are actually driving like while texting they would stop. You can always tell someone is texting.

I just looked it up on YouTube. Wow that is really powerful. I know people are saying it's gory but I have to say it's still very sugarcoated. (Sorry the EMT in me just knows too much lol) Here in our area not that long ago a teenage guy was texting and driving and killed two motorcyclists. The really horrible part was that he lied at first and said he was swerving to avoid a deer and lost control.

I hope they make something like that here though. Teens these days, and adults too for that matter, need to see that there really are concequences for their actions.

i work for a Level 1 trauma hospital. txt and driving is deadly and destructive. i will not txt my husband at all while driving. even though he tries to txt me. i just call him on my bluetooth and say stop it. do you want me to get a ticket or worse get in an accident.

please ladies i know this one was geared for teens but dont txt and drive. also use hands free for your cell phone when driving. it is a deadly mix

I haven't seen it, but god, I hate texting while driving.

DH and I had a total fit on Saturday morning because some woman in a truck was texting on I-10. Both hands were occupied, wrists on the steering wheel, texting away, and swerving all over the place, including almost into her. I think we honked at her and flipped her off a few times.

DH went about 80 get get away from her, and I looked back and then saw her with both hands off the wheel, covering her mouth...
