When will you put the stroller (and big items) together?

We have a swing, bouncer and travel system all boxed up in our living room and I'm wondering when we should take it out and assemble it.

We put all the things together probably within a week after we got them. Better do it now to make sure nothing is broken or missing so you have time to retun things if needed.

We got the crib & changing table last week & put them together then. Everything else will come at the shower (at 34 weeks) or later--will put things together as we get them.

Do it now. That way you know everything is okay (no missing pieces, etc.) and it's all ready to go.

I put the stuff together as we got it to make sure everything was ok and I didn't need to return it. Most of the stuff is in our guest bedroom. Stuff like the stroller and the PnP I took apart again and we'll put them together once the baby gets here because we don't need them right away.

we put the stroller/travel system together right after we got it at the shower. we haven't put PNP together yet, but plan on doing it soon to make sure there are no problems. high chair we will hold off on since we won't need it for a while

We just have the stroller left. DH wants to do it as a test of his patience, so whenever he gets around to it. She wont be using it for a while.

Put it together whenever you have the energy and motivation, because you'll lose both depending on the day. And try to do it within 30 days of purchase, to avoid any store return policy hassle.

My stroller is already togther. My FIL bought it for us and put it together himself.

The rest of the stuff (including the crib) will be put together once we move (when Im 36 weeks.... yikes!)

Everything has been put together for over a month now, maybe 2 months. The high chair, exersaucer, jumparoo, exercise mat are still in the boxes since we won't use most of those for a while. The playmat I'll probably take out sometime soon after the baby comes.

I started putting things together a few weeks ago. I still have some things in boxes, but plan to put them together very soon. I recommend doing it sooner than later, because everything I opened at least has a very strong plastic odor. Opening stuff now give them time to air out a bit

Most of you ladies are much more on top of it than I am wow!!!

I got a Baby Einstein musical jumper center thing & the box says 'folds flat for easy storage' so I decided to put it together thinking I'd be able to stash it away under the crib or under the futon in the baby's room... yeah 'folds flat' my butt!! I put it together & it's so bulky it doesn't fit anywhere except for back in the baby's closet!!

Putting the travel system & the swing together tonight! Haven't bought the pnp yet, waiting & hoping for BRU coupon to come out next week with a discount on pnp's so I can get a deal on it. Haven't got a highchair yet either.

Just got a coupon book in the mail today for sales starting 8/28 and it's got an 10% coupon for pnp's in it.
