Registering was a lot of fun, but exhausting! We were there for three hours with our Baby Bargains book and recommendations from friends and family.
I had my check up this morning and my dr. told me I need to start watching my weight.
I knew she was going to say something - I had to big weight two big gains in a row but it still sucks to hear her say that. Aw well...
Re: Back from Dr.'s appointment and registering
Boo on the weight talk. I had back to back weeks (or rather appts) where I gained a lot and then I would go 4 wks with no gain. I tried to keep the perspective of everything in proportion. Yes I allowed myself to have things I wouldn't eat but no need to have ice cream twice/day. But who am I kidding there were a few days where that rule didn't even apply!
Congrats on getting the registry done. Now that was a daunting process for us!
Sorry about the weight, that stinks!
Yay for getting registered, but man it is a lot of work!
Yay for registering!!! How exciting and fun!
Boo on the weight talk. But, you are cooking a baby and as long as you are healthy, that is all that should matter!
Bummer! My dr was all about the weight talk too, i had anxiety over it and got the sweats before my appts! Try not to let it bother you too much. I think you gain what you gain, I didn't feel like I had much control over it. I gained quite a bit, (60lbs) and im only 5'0!
I saw your picture...your tummy totally looks small...I am not sure why you are getting the weight talk....
But 'GRATZ on the registering! I felt so accomplished when I did that!
Money Matters The other half's blog.
EJ is growing up too fast!
You know between 18-24 weeks I had huge weight jumps, I think 4 pounds at each appointment during that time. In the end I only gained 18 pounds, that time frame is just big on growth, not just the baby but fluid, blood ect.
Congrats on getting your registry done, that's a big one.
18 lbs! Wow, I've gained 34. And my baby is small!
funny this week, I had glucose in my urine and the doctor asked me if I had something sweet before the appt and i sheepishly admitted to a piece of chocolate cake. BUSTED! But it is so good.
