I think my heart just stopped, RE:Meds

I just a confirmation email from IVFmeds for my prescription for this upcoming cycle.

1st cycle: 36 vials of Menopur and I had to call because I was a new customer and set everything up

2nd cycle: Returning customer so they have all my info so the nurse was able to call, I just got the confirmation. 54 VIALS THIS TIME!! Eeek! That's just a couple more...and just a little (LOT) bit more money.

My H was so good. I said, It's going to be a lot more expensive this cycle. He said, That's okay because this one is going to work. :)

    That is the right attitude to have!

     

    But, I hear you.... hearing that amount is always quite jarring. ;(

    Wow that is a lot of menopur.  

    But if it works then who cares how much you had to use.  Lots of luck to you this cycle. 

    Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN.     You're right, the goal here is to get some viable embies. And hopefully (crossing my fingers) have great ones to transfer and some to freeze.

    I hear you on the increased med dose.  My RE has more than doubled my dose of both Follistim and Menopur for IVF#2.  I don't want to think about the price...just keeping my eye on the prize of a baby right now!

    So glad your H is having a great attitude about it. :) And Infertility gives me sticker shock every time. Ugh!!
