I wish we were all happy like we used to be in middle school. I wish I could bake a cake full of rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy.

seriously, the board could do without the misdirected judgement (as Cathy put it), but if everyone was happy with everyone else we'd be awfully bored around here.

Lol. All I have to say is that since all of the people that matter want the GP Mamas to post here, then they should do that. Seriously things have been wonky since this all started. Maybe if they came back this board would normalize.
The past can keep my green denim and rainbow knee high toe socks, however.
LOL. Green denim. I do recall having some pretty sweet polyester vests and headbands.
I had enough synthetic fabric for everyone! This was when being a "hippie" was cool, and everyone had polyester t shirts with crazy colors and "flowerchild" written on them.
I have brownies if that will satisfy the cake requirement.

In middle school I was afraid of the nuns. And cake was not allowed. Few rounds of the rosary, yes. Cake or boys? No.
I do love you though Glowworm.
OK, that makes more sense!

Yup, middle school not so hot for me either. I had to wear headgear to school from grades 6-8, so no cake or boys for me either, Cathy.
Not me. I was the chubby kid in my grade.

I was the "flat" girl. I heard it all- "If you had no feet, would you wear shoes?...then why do you wear a bra?"
?
I agree. ?Finger painting was so fun and therapeutic.
?
Um.. I'm still the flat girl...
