1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? Cycle #1, waiting to 0.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? My brother's birthday dinner on Saturday and NOT having any plans on Sunday.
3. How many kids would you like to have? Two, ideally one boy and one girl.
4. Do you have a preference between a boy or a girl? We would both love to have a girl first, but we would be happy with either.
5. Would you consider adoption if you were not able to get pregnant and keep a pregnancy due to previous miscarriages? Yes, we have already talked about adoption and it's something we are both very open to.
6. Who is your current Obgyn, and are you happy going to this Obgyn or are you looking for another Obgyn to go to? I am currently looking for one, so I will be interested in seeing what people say.
7. Do you ever think about multiples? Would you be excited, nervous, or both? Well, twins run in DH's family, so I am rather terrified to be honest!
8. How much of your day do you spend thinking TTC-related thoughts? (Be honest.) Too much!
9. What is your Tuesday confession? I have two. I am currently sitting here looking at a list of baby names instead of working. Also, I was excited for this post since I can finally participate.
10. Questions for next week? How often/on what days do you BD and is it before and/or right after you O? Do you skip days in between?
Pregnant Questions
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Headed into week 34. EEK! No new pains, just really really uncomfortable sleep.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Maternity session on Friday, baby shower on Saturday! Woot!
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Tomorrow! Yay.
4. When did/will you get your furniture for the nursery? Still haven't ordered ours yet. Likely next week. We are L-A-T-E.
5. Any recommendations for great books on breastfeeding? Nope
6. Any recommendations for books/online resources for baby/child vaccination info? I hear Dr. Sears' book is good. But I haven't read it. I've pretty much made up my mind about this based on my own research.
7. Be honest, have you been eating more or less healthy since becoming pregnant? My question. LESS. I feel shameful about it too. Eating super healthy like I used to just feels so inconvenient right now.
8. How many weeks were you when you started showing? 20/21?
9. Are you planning to work or change your work schedule once LO arrives? I'm going to take some time off and then work/consult on a flex schedule I dictate.
10. Anyone watch "A Baby Story" and get freaked out by some of the things that happen in labor? No TV, so I'm spared. I used to watched it back in the day though and it was a tad freaky. Our birthing class teacher banned everyone in the class from wathcing it though...lol
11. When did you first feel baby moving? Right around week 20/21. I felt NOTHING before then. Seriously.
12. Are you expecting anyone to buy any of your bigger items off your registry? Nope, not really. We're prepared to buy the big stuff ourselves. We already have purchased quite a bit. Our parents are buying nursery furniture though which is a BLESSING!
13. Are you working with a doctor, midwife or doula? Midwife. There are docs in the practice too though if need be.
14. When did you/do you plan to stop working relative to your due date? I've already stopped. I stopped about two weeks ago. Feels glorious.
15. What is your Tuesday confession? I ate two packages of Haribo Fizzy Cola gummi candy yesterday and today. Dang you Cost Plus international candy section!Pregnant Questions
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 25 weeks and 3 days. My right hip still hurts and I have a pain(possibly a foot) in my right rib.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Honestly - nothing too exciting besides being one week closer to DD.
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Sept 8th is my next appt - nothing really going on that week.
4. When did/will you get your furniture for the nursery? Little Mr.'s room is complete. I got all the furniture between 16 - 20 weeks. I wanted the room to be done before I was too tired to enjoy it.
5. Any recommendations for great books on breastfeeding? I have not a clue.
6. Any recommendations for books/online resources for baby/child vaccination info? www.tpchd.org also the cdc website has good information as well as www.immunize.org. I work in a medical office and this is where we are referred by the tacoma pierce county health department.
7. Be honest, have you been eating more or less healthy since becoming pregnant? ha! yep. Just finished my cheeseburger from Wendy's.
8. How many weeks were you when you started showing? Um, somewhere between 12-14 weeks. That was when I could personally tell - publicly speaking more like 16 weeks.
9. Are you planning to work or change your work schedule once LO arrives? This is definately a big debate in my house at the moment.
10. Anyone watch "A Baby Story" and get freaked out by some of the things that happen in labor? "A Baby Story" is only on when I am at work. With my DD I would watch all the time, but never really got freaked out.
11. When did you first feel baby moving? Around 16 weeks.
12. Are you expecting anyone to buy any of your bigger items off your registry? No. I my registry is multi-functional. lol. I use it as a need to still buy guide for myself mostly.
13. Are you working with a doctor, midwife or doula? I am working with a Dr.
14. When did you/do you plan to stop working relative to your due date? I am having a planned C-section so I am hoping to be able to work pretty close to the date.

1. Second time mom's - are you recycling your name list from your first pregnancy? Or do you have all new name favorties? We definately started from scratch and it took us a while to even get close to a name that we liked. Once we found it though we fell in love with it.
2. What are you doing for a double stroller, not a jogger? DD is 6 so we really don't need a double stroller.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 6, lots of lower back cramps.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Ultrasound on Friday, and date night.
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? End of September, aside from ultrasound this week.
4. When did/will you get your furniture for the nursery? We will be using ds's furniture. We ordered it when I was about 28 weeks.
5. Any recommendations for great books on breastfeeding? "So That's What They're For" was a good resource for me.
6. Any recommendations for books/online resources for baby/child vaccination info? nope
7. Be honest, have you been eating more or less healthy since becoming pregnant? About the same. I cut out soda, and way back on coffee (now decaf if I have it).
8. How many weeks were you when you started showing? 12, 15 for others to notice.
9. Are you planning to work or change your work schedule once LO arrives? I only work 2 evenings a week now, but plan on quitting after the holidays, maybe end of January.
10. Anyone watch "A Baby Story" and get freaked out by some of the things that happen in labor? Yup, even after having ds.
11. When did you first feel baby moving? I think around 18 weeks with ds.
12. Are you expecting anyone to buy any of your bigger items off your registry? I didn't expect it, but did receive our pnp, highchair. And my Mom surprised me with the glider we had picked out.

14. When did you/do you plan to stop working relative to your due date? With ds I was put on bedrest at 32 weeks. This time I am planning on stopping about 2 months before.

1. Second time mom's - are you recycling your name list from your first pregnancy? Or do you have all new name favorties? We have a family name for a girl we still like. Boys we will starting over, since we used our #1.
2. What are you doing for a double stroller, not a jogger? My ?.. We are looking at the Joovey Caboose, ds will be 3 1/2 by the time we are out and about. Right now he doesn't ride much, so I figure it would be a good match.

1. What week are you in? 31 weeks 5 days Any new aches or pains? Contractions galore, my back is killing me and for some reason I can't get my feet to stop hurting
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Hopefully our last camping trip pre baby. We have to wait and see how I feel though.
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? September 1st and I'm assuming another internal since I had to have one at L&D on Sat. and also going over the birth plan
4. When did/will you get your furniture for the nursery? We got our crib in June and we've recycled other furniture we already had and turned it into baby furniture.
5. Any recommendations for great books on breastfeeding? Oh man I have this awesome book but I can't remember the name right now...I'll look for it and post it later.

8. How many weeks were you when you started showing? To my husband and I, 14 or so; to the outside world about 22.
9. Are you planning to work or change your work schedule once LO arrives? I'm hoping to work on my degree online and work from home eventually.
10. Anyone watch "A Baby Story" and get freaked out by some of the things that happen in labor? I get freaked out all of the time. I can't help it. I don't want and epidural after watching one episode last week where it looked like it was getting jabbed into her back. DH is cutting me off the baby shows soon.
11. When did you first feel baby moving? I felt flutters at about 17 weeks. More active movement between 20 and 21.
12. Are you expecting anyone to buy any of your bigger items off your registry? I'm not execting it but I think my sister and Dad are going to split the travel system which is great as it's the last BIG item we really have to have.

7. Do you ever think about multiples? Would you be excited, nervous, or both? yes, that would be cool--I want 3 children
8. How much of your day do you spend thinking TTC-related thoughts? (Be honest.) In the morning--OPK--and at night--with TTC with DH. And then there is Fertility Friend. It is a waiting game.
9. What is your Tuesday confession? My chart is kinda warped this time. But today all I could think TTC related was April Showers bring May Flowers (May babies).

1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? Cycle 8, just about to O.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Thursday is my birthday!!! DH and I are going to dinner that night, then doing movie/dinner with friends on Saturday. Also, I'm eager to get results from last week's hysteroscopy. There's a small chance they may not be good, but if they are, we get the green light for an IUI.
3. How many kids would you like to have? Ideally 2 or 4, but realistically it'll be 2. I'd like to keep it even numbers.
4. Do you have a preference between a boy or a girl? We will be happy with healthy kids, but I know DH and I would both be disappointed if we don't have at least one girl.
5. Would you consider adoption if you were not able to get pregnant and keep a pregnancy due to previous miscarriages? Absolutely! It's something we've talked about since before we got married. My mom was adopted and it's always been close to my heart.
6. Who is your current Obgyn, and are you happy going to this Obgyn or are you looking for another Obgyn to go to? I'm seeing Keely Brown at Bellegrove in Bellevue. I only saw her once before I was referred to Northwest Center for Repro Sciences (Kirkland) for IF testing/treatments. So, I can't say much but she seemed nice. :-) The RE's at NCRS have been great!
7. Do you ever think about multiples? Would you be excited, nervous, or both? All.The.Time. This was my question. DH and I are really hoping to start off with twins. It will be more work and money, I know, but we're not getting younger and it will jump-start (and maybe complete) our family. Since our TTC-ing is now with medical help, the chances are higher for multiples already.
8. How much of your day do you spend thinking TTC-related thoughts? (Be honest.) Honestly... it probably dominates at least 75% of my thoughts. Besides eating, sleeping, breathing, petting the cats, and watching some tv with DH, TTC stuff is in my head. I'm planning our trip to Seaside, so that's a slight distraction.
10. Questions for next week? I think I tapped myself out last week. I'll think about it, though. :-)9. What is your Tuesday confession? I think my answer to #8 was a good confession right there! Ok, also, I'm feeling guilty that DH and I haven't done "anything" in a while, so I may be offering a little tonight. 1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 15, still some round ligament pain, but otherwise feeling pretty good.
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Going down to Cali for a friend's wedding on Friday.
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? 9/9, regular appt. Sometime in the next week though I have to have another ultrasound but I still need to schedule.

7. Be honest, have you been eating more or less healthy since becoming pregnant? 1st trimester I think I broke even ( I ate more McDonalds and more fruit and veggies), 2nd trimester more healthy but only because that's what I've been craving. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies.
8. How many weeks were you when you started showing? I really started to get a bump about 2 weeks ago. I doubt a stranger would notice, but family and friends can tell the difference.
9. Are you planning to work or change your work schedule once LO arrives? I don't have the flexibility to change my work schedule at my current job. My plan right now is to find a new job after Lucy arrives.
10. Anyone watch "A Baby Story" and get freaked out by some of the things that happen in labor? I rarely get to watch the show anymore, so I guess my answer is no.
11. When did you first feel baby moving? Haven't felt her move yet, but I can't wait for it to start!
12. Are you expecting anyone to buy any of your bigger items off your registry? Not really. We've planned all along that we would be the ones to purchase all the items, so if we get any gifts we'll be more than happy!

5. Would you consider adoption if you were not able to get pregnant and keep a pregnancy due to previous miscarriages? Definitely! We're considering adoption even though we can get pregnant.
6. Who is your current Obgyn, and are you happy going to this Obgyn or are you looking for another Obgyn to go to? I see Dr. Hanrahan at the Seattle Women's Clinic. I really like Dr. Hanrahan so far and I really like everyone I've seen in her clinic. They were really great during our whole NT Scan/CVS scare and really advocated for DH, baby and I to receive everything we needed and more to feel safe, cared for, and comforted.
7. Do you ever think about multiples? Would you be excited, nervous, or both? Yep, until our first ultrasound DH and I were terrified they'd find more than 1 baby in there. Granted, if they had we would have been thrilled...nervous wrecks, but thrilled nonetheless.

I used "A Baby Story" as my birthing class. LoL I really didn't go to any birthing classes cause I figured I'd learned all I needed to know from that show. It worked.
11. When did you first feel baby moving? I'm only feeling her every now and then. Probably felt it first around 16 weeks?

1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? Just got off the pill, and not charting. So I guess I'm waiting to O?
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Getting the doggie back from the vet.
3. How many kids would you like to have? At this point, I think probably two. Maybe three. We'll see how it goes.
4. Do you have a preference between a boy or a girl? I have no preference. Partially because I haven't had either one so I have no idea what to expect, and partially because nature doesn't care what your preference is.
5. Would you consider adoption if you were not able to get pregnant and keep a pregnancy due to previous miscarriages? Honestly I'm not sure about this. It never crossed my mind that we wouldn't be able to get pregnant.
6. Who is your current Obgyn, and are you happy going to this Obgyn or are you looking for another Obgyn to go to? I see Dr. Keely at Bellegrove OBGYN and I Love her! She is really easy to talk to, gets to know you first before you just take your clothes off and get examined, and she makes you feel very comfortable.
7. Do you ever think about multiples? Would you be excited, nervous, or both? Oh man, this never crossed my mind either. It doesn't run in my family, I don't think it runs in DH's. Better double check.
8. How much of your day do you spend thinking TTC-related thoughts? (Be honest.) Lately, 94%. I really should try to focus on my work.
9. What is your Tuesday confession? I had delicious Ezell's fried chicken for lunch and I've discovered spreading creamy PB on chocolate chip cookies. It was an epiphany like, "Where have you BEEN all my life???"
10. Questions for next week? If you were on the pill for awhile, how long did it take you to conceive after going off?
OMG, I should own STOCK in Ezell's after this pregnancy. It is shameful. Their peach cobbler is also to die for.
One of DH's friends had Ezell's cater his wedding. I have never seen people eat fried chicken so quickly in my entire life. Even the vegetarians were eating it.

7. Do you ever think about multiples? Would you be excited, nervous, or both? Yes, given we had fertility treatments. I wouldn't want more than twins and would be nervous.

14. Round ligament pain everytime I get up too fast. Lightheadedness. Leg cramps at night - I forgot about this stuff. STILL spotting 2 weeks later after my scare and trip to the ER. But not worrying. I'll just ride it out.

I actually crave veggies and salads and my sweet cravings are less than before I was pregnant. There is an uneaten double chocolate Trophy Cupcake on the counter.

11. When did you first feel baby moving? W/ DS not until probably 18ish weeks - my placenta was in the front and is again. I will probably feel this one earlier since I know what it feels like.
12. Are you expecting anyone to buy any of your bigger items off your registry? We got all the big stuff off of our registry w/ DS which was so nice and helpful. Admitedly, I put some stuff on there I knew we wouldn't keep so that we could have the credit to buy anything that was left like the breast pump.
13. Are you working with a doctor, midwife or doula? One of the best OBs in the area. She's super busy and hard to get into and doesn't always remember the details about you but she does care and she's good. That mattered the most to me.
14. When did you/do you plan to stop working relative to your due date? I worked up until I had to leave for the hospital - I was at home when my water broke and was frantically sending the last emails for a deadline while sitting on towels. I would take more time off after the baby than before if you have a choice. Work as long as you can.

I have gone a little crazy getting fall clothes for DS. I can't help it...he needs new stuff and it's just so cute!
Second Time Mom Q?s: 1. Second time mom's - are you recycling your name list from your first pregnancy? Or do you have all new name favorties? Girls names yes, boys names mostly no. We had chosen Hayden but it's too much of a unisex name now. So we are struggling w/ boy names and if I would bet money, this one's a boy. 2. What are you doing for a double stroller, not a jogger? I think the Joovy Sit & Stand. The Double BOB is too big. The Phil and Ted's is okay but I like the stand option for DS -he's not a big stroller rider.16. Questions for next week? 1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? As of today, I am 18 weeks. I did yoga for the first time in a couple weeks, and boy were my lower abs feeling it! It felt funny in a lot of the positions, too. I'm taking a prenatal yoga class in a couple weeks, though. Hopefully that will be good.

SIL has twins, so we know a little of what thats about. I wouldn't mind it one bit. In fact, I would be thrilled. I am always up for new things, and adventure.

Does anyone experience long cycles? I'd love to also hear from girls who got a BFP with long cycles. Mine are anywhere from 40-60 day cycles, and it can get a bit frustrating at times.

It was really hard in NOLA when I was six weeks and was just craving fruit! Couldn't find one piece of fresh fruit in that city, and everything was either fried or dripping in sauces.

I'm not really too nervous about the delivery yet. 7. Do you ever think about multiples? Would you be excited, nervous, or both? Nervous! We were scared that it could be twins before my first ultrasound, I would've been happy - but I like it better this way

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 39 weeks 2 days which means I'm IN my 40th WEEK! Just lots of pressure and BH's
2. What are you looking forward to this next week? Having a baby! Finishing up work things. My Boss is in town thru tomorrow. Lots of pineapple and spicy Thai food this week too.
3. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? THursday. Membranes stripping.
4. When did/will you get your furniture for the nursery? WIth #1 right after the big u/s at 17 weeks. WIth #2, probably 30 weeks and we were still getting it all finalized even 2 weeks ago. lol
5. Any recommendations for great books on breastfeeding? Read LOTS! I remember being so nervous about it, since it's quite painful and you are so unsure it's going well in the beginning. Read anythingand everything you can. It helped me and I ended up BF'ing for 13 months.

1. Second time mom's - are you recycling your name list from your first pregnancy? Or do you have all new name favorties? We didn't touch names until the big U/S, so new names since opposite gender
2. What are you doing for a double stroller, not a jogger? Well, the bumbleride is not exactly a jogger since it has 4 wheels, but you CAN jog with it since you can lock them.
I'm still about 70% in favor of the Bumbleride Indie Twin over the BOB Duallie. DH gave the green light for whichever I want. We went and looked at the Bumbleride in person on Sat. 
Okay I suck, i havent checked in in way too long!

11. When did you first feel baby moving? I thought I felt fluttering around 9wks but nothing I've read seems to suggest that's possible. Maybe 16wks were the true flutters and kicks started around 20wks.

I am new to this board! We received our BFP on 8/11 and couldn't be happier! Our due date is around April 20th, but will be confirmed by our doctor at our first appointment in a couple weeks.
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 6. Not too many aches just minor cramping and sharp pains every once in a while. Surprisingly no morning sickness but definetely loss of appetite.

It is the strangest thing, I normally eat healthy but have the biggest sweet tooth and eat candy multiple times a day - but since being pregnant all I crave is fruits and veggies. I haven't even been craving meat very much (except for my favorite, hamburgers). I guess this is a good thing, definetely new territory for me!

I would love nothing more than to stay at home and I think I may have the opportunity to do that for a little bit at least.
