Would it be stupid to purchase....

A diaper bag before even being pregnant? The bag is on Etsy and I love it, the lady said she can do her style with a fabric I like. But the issue is the fabric on Etsy is running low.

    I am going to say no because I am contemplating the same exact thing today.  RueLaLa opened a Vera Bradley boutique and they have baby bags for $32 (or something close to that), they are normally $97!

    i am not superstitious at all.  I would buy it.  I have a huge bin full of bibs, onesies, t-shirts, toys, etc.  It makes me feel happy to have things.  It's like a promise to myself not to give up; it will happen eventually, you know?

    tough one. Do you mind if someone sees it and asks?? I would just be afraid to have it and people question it. We bought pregnancy/baby friendly items prior to getting KU but nothing spacific to the baby or pregnancy. Ok wait I lie. I bought a $6 pair of mat pants. so I guess I did it. Go for it!

    I say go for it.  If you don't, it may be one of those items you look back on and wish you had bought it.

    I say go for it!  Awhile ago they had Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bags on RueLaLa and I ended up ordering one.

    Personally, I would totally go for it! You're gonna kick yourself if you wait and then the she is totally out of that specific fabric.

    I love Etsy!  Buy it if you like it, if you get KU and they don't have anything you like as much you'll be disappointed & if you find something better later, you can give it as a gift!

    Not to me. I have bought a few things for my phantom baby b/c I really liked them and I could not stop myself. If you really like it buy it specially if the fabric is running low! ;)

    No, I would not mind someone asking, but I would not even have it out for anyone else to see it.

    It wouldn't bother me to have it around, it would actually be the first item I have bought, besides a "I love daddy" bib for when I get a BFP.

    Thank you ladies so much, I feel much better about purchasing it now.

    i had this EXACT situation.  i bought it, and didn't get my bfp for another few months, it didn't bother me that it was just sitting there.  and now that i will be needing it soon, i am so glad i got it when i did because i have found nothing else i like since then.

    I say go for it. I'm trying to hold off getting anything since I know it will be even more fun once I'm pregnant. But if there is something I really really want then I would get it so I don't miss out and regret it later.

    i say go for it. i already have a diaper bag that i got at a Coach outlet for a really good deal. it's in our guest room closet.
