Yesterday, at our 1 yr pedi appt, I think I implied that we were trying to get pg (which we aren't). Our pedi is actually pregnant, and when she made the comment about DS probably being smaller because DH & I were relatively skinny, I said my usually cryptic "well, we're working on that... or at least, mama's working on that!" which really meant, mama can't seem to say no to the free donuts on the desk at work...
At the end of our visit, our pedi commented that mom might be working on getting DS a new little sibling - to which I said - well, maybe in a year or so!! The whole thing started me thinking about how much longer we're going to stay on b/c (I plan on getting off any and either using FAM or the 'just see' method after L&D will be covered again by my ins., until we're at a point where we would really start timing & really trying). I admit - I have a tiny bit 'o baby fever....
Speaking of which... need to call the OB for my yearly... :P Joy... I miss going for pg appointments, but not for the regular visits...
Re: My brush with baby fever
I have a pretty bad case of the fever myself. I have no idea why - it's completely irrational... at least that's what I keep telling myself!
I am done having babies. I am done having babies. I think I am done having babies.
Uh, HELLO!!!!
we've already had a bunch of women on here get pg at once...it's going to happen again and it's going to be us three....
we could be the trifecta!!!!!
Sadly, I would love to be one of several EF pg's when the time comes. We could compare baby bumps "Mines bigger than yours!!! neener-neener-neeeener!!!"
seriously...i'm having a hard time imagining you and i pg together...it would be HYSTERICAL!
And, get off bc so you can become pg with us...I will probably start the trend and then mommy2b08 will be 2 days later (luv you wifey!
) and then dobie_mama and then you lol!
Ditto. We're going to be ttc as soon as I get my IUD which will most likely be in the next month. I go nuts when I see a newborn and everyone around me is either pregnant or has a new baby!
I'll let DH know it's time.
"But honey, Mrs.A.Butler said it was time for me to get off b/c. That must mean we're ready!!!"

What?! You mean I can't rely on you to be the next BFP?!
I was going to require you to have monthly POAS posts.
That's ok - realistically, I think we'll wait until at least DS is 18 mo before we really are anywhere near trying. We want the kiddos at least 2-3 years apart. At times, though, it feels like a long wait.
yes...it will work.
lol I will still do the cheapo sticks for ya ;o) ?Then have a heart attack if one is a BFP ?;o)?

Awe, you are so kind! Maybe you and I can convince Mrs.Butler to wait, and we can all be pg together... geeze... it's like trying to decide who to sit next to on the HS band trip bus...

lol! well remember I'm not actively trying...i have pcos and had to use clomid to get pg with ds so the bfp may be a ways off anyways

I think your DH is your pg partner, silly!
j/k
I'd love to be your pg partner. Now, if we have a whoops, we have to have it together. This may require some planning. Perhaps we first work on getting our cycles together, have a stern talking to our eggs, and text each other on days when we plan to baby dance? Don't worry - I won't text you often...
::cries::
what about meeeeeeeee?!?! lol

duh, it goes without saying that anyone would like to be pg at the same time as you!

I'm just figuring - both our men are nice and virile, (ha) so, it goes that if we have our cycles together, and end up baby dancing the same nights/days/weeks/whateves, any possible oops will happen together. Duh...
Lytedark - you will be pg long before I am able to! I'm rooting for you! I'm predicting that you and marbear will be pg together!!!
oooooh there's an idea! squeee! hope hope hope hope
::stops whining:: lol..
