caremark girls come in

i am getting the run around today. my nurse said to see if they prefer to cover follistim or gonal f. no one can give me an answer.

previously i had been getting my prescriptions from schraft's now i am being told i have to use their specialty mail order pharmacy. i am thoroughly confused and would be grateful if anyone could share their experience on this matter.

Re: caremark girls come in

  • I have to deal with Caremark- because thats who my covers my IF drugs under my insurance plan. Caremark can be difficult to work with, even my nurse doesnt like them. If you have a flat amount towards meds with your insurance they should cover whatever your RE calls in.

I was never told they covered one and not the other- they always covered everything that my RE called in for me.

  • thanks, i can't get a straight answer. and i had been ordering from schraft's and my insurance def covered a big part of the meds, so i think i may continue to go that route since caremark can't give me an effin answer.

  • Sorry, you are getting the run around. I use them too, but so far I have only had to order Novarel from them (my doc just prescribed HCG injects, no brand, so they picked the cheapest one). It was a quick overnight delivery.
