Do I need an extra cover for nursing pillow?

I have the "My Brest Friend" nursing pillow, and I'm just debating whether or not I should buy an extra slipcover for it.  Do nursing pillows get very dirty?  Will I want another cover for when the original is in the laundry, or would I just put a blanket over it?  I'm just not sure if I should spend the extra $$.

    I have a boppy but I do have an extra cover. My milk flow is pretty strong so a lot of milk tends to leak out of DS' mouth. Also my milk will drip out before DS latches so the cover tends to get wet.

    You don't "need" 2... I have a boppy and it's been nice having 2.  Plus I spend probably 2-3 hours every single day staring at it, so it's nice to change the pattern every once in a while.  Mine's only gotten actually "dirty" maybe twice?

    Definitely worth having two.  DS not only leaked milk out of the side of his mouth, but he had reflux and spit up on my pillow pretty frequently.  Then you have the times that he managed to pee out the top of his diaper....so yeah, I'd get two Smile

    Same as BabyDeacon - he's only two weeks old and has spit up multiple times and peed on it once.  Boppy extra covers are pretty affordable though - not sure about Breast Friend...

    I used my BF pillow constantly and did not need two covers. Just put a burp cloth or blanket on top of it when you are nursing and wash that instead. It is a pain to take off and put on the BF cover b/c of that long part that goes around your waist. I washed mine a handful of times, but I don't think you need a second cover.
