Update on Echogenic Bowel at U/S last week

On 8/14 they found that both babies had bright spots on their bowels, which is a soft marker for downs and CF.

Rather than worry myself sick, I had an Amnio done on Friday and just got the FISH results in today, my boys are perfectly healthy with no chomosonal abnomalities! It's such a huge relief.

Hopefully this will ease the minds of other out there that have the same markers.

    oh my goodness!  That's great newS! Glad they are so healthy!
    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     Yeah for good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  What a relief!

    My son's echogenic bowel resolved itself and was not a problem, I'm glad to hear that this is the case for your LOs too!
