Safest house cleaning products for babies?

I hear so much talk about all the toxins/chemicals in cleaning product that can affect babies...

Are any of you using a certain type of brand that is safest for babies???

  • I've sort of gone back to basics. I use water, vinegar, and a few drops of essential oil to clean most things because Katen likes to "help" now. The essential oil eliminates the harsh vinegar smell and almost everything comes out as clean as it would with store cleaners. I also use baking soda and water as a softscrub alternative with similar results.

    Ditto.

  • Ditto the pp. But I do still use clorox in the bathroom, I just feel like I need that bleach clean in there, ya know.
  • we like to use method products or seventh generation stuff. ?and we don't use bleach in the house. ?if we really need to scub, we use baking soda and lemon.
  • I use Babyganics cleaning supplies.  Babies R Us sells them.  They are all vegetable oil based I think and are completely baby and pet safe.  I also use some Seventh Generation and Shaklee cleaning supplies as well.
