My sweet baby boy is ONE today!

Oh how times flies! John turns one today! When I look back on the events of the last couple of years, I am truly amazed. We were told we needed IVF yet we conceived him with IUI. I had a rough pregnancy with bleeding scare after scare and IUGR and bed rest but he was born at 36 weeks 1 day at 3 lb 7oz, breathing on his own.

We've endured NICU time and specialist appts out the wazoo but in spite of all of this, he is one happy little boy. He smiles constantly and laughs easily and often. He is the light of our lives, the sunshine of my day, the reason why I get up in the morning!

Happy birthday, little one! You have no idea how happy you have made your daddy and mommy!
