Complicated GYN recs

I just moved back up to Harford Cty and need to find a GYN doc that deals with complicated cases. For some background, I had my DS two years ago in Mogo Cty and had a very very complicated pregnancy and delivered him a month early. Well my period can not get back to normal (bleeding every other week to two weeks) and after seeing a few MDs, trying a few different pills, and blood tests, I still can't get things to normalize and the situation is aggrevating my migraines. I am going to try again, but I really want to find an MD that can handle more complicated situations than just a normal GYN visit or normal OB/GYN/Post-partum patient. This whole situation has me so frustrated and upset, I am just looking for any help or recommendations.

I can't help with a recommendation for Harford Co but the kind of doctor you are looking for is a "peri-neonatologist maternal fetal medicine specialist" who is also called a Peri or MFM for short. And your regular OB will need to take direction from the Peri. The peri specializes in complicated high risk pregnancies, but they typically don't deliver the baby(ies) unless there are very serious complications that require his/her specialty at the time of delivery.

I had a lot of complications after the birth of my twins. I am currently seeing Dr. Fermin Barrueto (ob specialist) in Towson. I developed a rare syndrome due to the neglect of my former OBGYN. Dr. Barrueto has been WONDERFUL. He takes his time with you. I think he really know his stuff and if he can't help you he will send you in the right direction.

I am high-risk and perinatal assocaites,llc out of GBMC, came very highly recommended to me and I've liked everyone at the practice so far.
