  • That makes me feel so disorganised.

I'm 19 weeks and we have a stroller and a pair of booties.

  • That's awesome! Our LO is building quite the wardrobe himself.

  • did you buy all of those, or have they been bought for you?  I'd recommend keeping the tags on them and keeping all of your receipts.  You will never need that many outfits.  I think my LO has maybe 10 outfits in a 0-3 size, then some onesies and that's it for now...

  • We're right up there, too. We bought a couple newborns, some 0-3 months---yes, there is a difference, some 3-6 month and a couple 6-9 months. We've noticed there can be a huge difference in brand sizing. Comparing.. say a Carter's brand onsie w/ one of another brand... often a noticeable difference in the same size.

We also have 2- 5pks of receiving blankets, 2- 6pk of newborn socks and a little stuffed puppy dog.

We went a little crazy when we neared the 2 tri and bought a bunch during some really great sales in colors or patterns we felt could be either sex. Since we have a confirmed sex, we end up buying something almost everytime we're out. I told Dh we need to stop and leave something for people to buy for the shower. We have only bought the clothing, though---more or less. So there is plenty left to get. it's just hard when we see really cute things. Today was sort a short all...could be worn w/o a shirt from Sams---royal blue with surfboards. $2.15!!! I picture him wearing that w/ a pair of sunglasses and maybe a cute hat Stick out tongue

  • we're on our way up to that number too. At this point I think we might be able to go two years w/o buying him new clothes.  Gotta love people shopping for clothes for you. Big Smile

  • I'm going on 25 weeks and I don't have a thing when it comes to clothing. I'm not too worried though. My SIL has some little vests and sleepers she is passing down from her 1-mo-old. And not that I expect them to, but my MIL/FIL will help with things when they return from their holiday in September.
  • so uh....just send half to my PO Box.
  • I am not as far along as some of you girls but I only have one outfit that I got as a gift.  I guess I should register soon so the baby has some stuff, lol.
  • Wow!  My baby has nothing yet.  You're a lucky lady!
  • I was promised roughly 3 garbage bags of hand me downs. Haha. I can't wait, and my boy will be the third kid to use them!

  • I have ONE outfit...
  • I have bought a couple of things myself, but most of it is from other people.  It ranges in size from NB-24 months.

It is exciting to get cute little clothes!

  • My grandma has been the only one to buy us clothes so far.  But it's only been about 5 outfits!  I am so afraid that the baby will end up being way bigger than the newborn or even 0-3 month outfits.  I'm afraid they'll be over the "return limit" so I'm not buying anything I find on sale or clearance yet.  Plus, we don't know what it is, so that kind of limits me!

  • yea we the same.  we have a friend who gave us r extra large storage bags of baby clothes.  people keep buying us stuff but after we showed them what we already have they are coming in bigger sizes.
  • That's awesome! I have a feeling that within about 24 hrs after we find out the sex our will be the same. My poor mom goes into a store and sees cute stuff and I know she is holding back until we find out what we are having. But we have 5 or 6 gender neutral outfits already.

  • That's awesome, especially if the outfits are all different sizes.  When dd was born, she weighed 7 lbs and was 19.5 inches long and stayed in NB clothes for 8 weeks.

If you buy anything Gerber, be sure to buy a size up, b/c that brand shrinks horribly.

  • I'm sorry, but is that supposed to be a good thing?

It seems really wasteful to me.  Hopefully a lot of those are hand-me-downs and hopefully you'll pass them along to friends when you're done.

  • I'm getting hand me downs from my sister and did buy a few things only because they were on clearance and really good prices.  I'm the bargain shopper so I refuse to pay full price.

  • We have a lot too.  About 25 outfits of each size 0-3, 3-6 and 6-9.  I also got a bunch of 12 months. My sister gave us a bunch and i've bought some stuff i found on sale.  My mom is telling my family taht i dont need clothes when they ask her waht i need for the shower.
