I love them. My boys wear them all the time. Gabe is just starting to get to the age where they are a bit too young-looking for him. I figure at 2 we should stop wearing them
Do you mean for example, the cute little plaid sunsuits that are kind of like shortalls? My boys wore them all the time. I loved them! They did stop wearing them the summer they were 2.
Unless it's pink and frilly it isn't girly. DS has several, he goes between onesies and rompers.

Basically a one-piece outfit that snaps at the crotch. Some look like onesies with sleeves and legs. Dressier ones look like overalls.
Since I can't find any shorts or pants to fit him, rompers are the only way his legs are ever covered at all. It's either that or a plain onesie or t-shirt-and-a-diaper. The romper works great for us. I can't imagine how they're "girly." Especially the one he wore today with a puppy dog and baseballs on it.
I chose the snowflake. I like them because they are practical. I sometimes think they are cute. I think they look like they belong on younger babies. DH HATES them.
Really? People think these look girly? LOL, it's all DS wears pretty much - I like them because they look "dressed" to me, whereas just a onesie looks messy, IMO.
DS wears one almost every day. I will admit I think the sleeveless ones tend a little toward the girly, but his are all in the blue & green families, so I don't worry about it. My favorites are the ones with the polo collars.

I love them. It's so much easier than trying to find pants and a onesie/shirt. Plus he is super squirmy so changing his diaper is harder now. I don't think i would every get pants back on him.
I only like some kinds of them for boys. I like packing them in the diaper bag as an extra set of clothes because they are easy and don't take a ton of room. That said, I try to avoid DS in them because the thighs make the shorts roll up and it just looks like a onesie!
DS has several. And I assure you they aren't girly. I even but him in *gasp* a smocked bubble for his 9 month pics. DH wasn't a huge fan but heirloom clothing is classic.
ETA: I also think there comes a point where they get too old and it becomes ridiculous. A 4 year old boy can't pull off Kelly's Kids and Strausburg.
I voted snowflake because I don't think they are girly at all but I do think they are ugly. DS has one and he only wears them to bed or around the house. Otherwise he is in onesies, T shirts, Jeans or shorts.
I didn't know anyone thought they looked girly. I love them. DS has like, 10! We CD, and it is SO hard to find shorts that fit around his giant booty. The rompers are always a perfect fit, plus he is really squirmy for diaper changes. At home he mostly wears a diaper and a t shirt, but when we go out it is mostly rompers.

I love them. I don't have that many in his summer size. When I was shopping I got all onesies and pants. I wish I had more because the are easy and cute. They look a lot better than just having a onesie on.
Re: s/o rompers on boys - clicky poll

Ditto this.
depends on the age.

Ditto word for word.
It's all that DS wears during the day.
