Re: can I take a bath?

  • Just not too hot and you should be ok.  I used to take baths all the time.  As I got bigger, I'd just keep my belly out of the water.  So I say YAY... the water will feel nice, enjoy!

  • You'd have to take one helluva hot bath to increase your temp enough to be a problem... you shouldn't sit in a hot tub but a regular warm bath isn't gonna hurt anything!
  • Yes! Not a dumb question at all. I took them allllll the time (through whole pg), sometimes several times a day, they made me feel so good! Like pp said make sure it's not too hot. I'd say (b/c it's what dos have tole me:) ) try not to spend more than about 20 minutes in there if it's a little on the hot side. Enjoy, you will feel so much better!

Ditto this.  I took them on the warmer side too - not steaming, but quite warm.  At the end of my pregnancy nothing made me feel better except a hot(ish) bath.  Go for it!

  • I was paranoid about this...so I got a thermometer.  Most books its perfectly fine at 100 degrees.

Also, your body will let you know if you get too hot...

    Enjoy your bath!!
