Unfortunately, we don't have a nursery. We are in a rental and there isn't much we can do here. it gets me rather upset which in turn upsets DH. In our house in PA i had it all planned out. i wanted it a calming blueish green color no matter the sex. I wanted it done in bunnies. *Sigh* i keep telling myself that he won't even know anything in his room until he's older and hopefully well have our own house by then. Then I can decorate until my hearts content. but for now, it's still frustrating.
2) Updates? How are you feeling?
About the same as last week. i have noticed more heartburn. Not particularly encouraging considering I"m not in my 3rd tri yet and I'm on a steady stream of Zantac. What am I suppose to do later on?!
1) Have you or do you plan on making any crafty projects for your baby (or the nursery)? If so, what? Feel free to post pictures of your projects too! No, I'm not a crafty person. MIL says she's going to make some stuff though so we'll see how that pans out.
2) Updates? How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good. I think the slight m/s queasiness I had for 2 weeks has left. I had my first appointment on Wednesday. The midwife did a quick u/s for me so I could see the blob, and she thought she saw two sacs, so she had me see the actual u/s tech. Luckily, there is only 1 baby in there and everything is measuring on track. The baby's heartbeat was in the 130's which she said is very good.

Yes! I just finished my 1st project. I had previously painted letters for Claire's name, so I wanted to make some for Anna too! They will be sharing a room so I wanted them to "match", but not be the same. Here's what they look like...
The theme/bedding has ladybugs, dragonflies and frogs, so everything coordinates. I'm not sure if I'll be doing anything else or not... I did some other projects for the room before DD#1 was born, so I don't feel like I need to do too much this time around.

My apt. went pretty well last week. The dr. checked me again just to make sure I wasn't leaking any fluid (and I wasn't). He also decided to send me for an u/s to check the length of my cervix. I'm waiting to hear back on that, but the u/s tech thought that everything looked OK. I was kind of bummed out though when I realized I gained another 7 pounds in 4 weeks
. Fortunatley, the dr. didn't seemed worried about the weight gain and said that I'm on track for the "over-all total". My appointments will now be every 2 weeks, which I don't mind. The worst thing right now (other than the heat) is the terrible pain I get in my arms and hands during the night. It's well past the point of the occasional "pins & needles" feeling. It's down right PAIN from my forearms to my finger tips and makes sleeping very difficult. I'm hoping to get wrist braces to help with that.

I'm not doing a ton of crafty things, but have ordered some things from Etsy. I am adding a ribbon to the lampshade that matches our bedding. I have most things ready to go or have them on order for the nursery, so as soon as our furniture comes in we'll be able to set everything up. I can't wait to see it all come together! I'll be sure to post pics at that time.

The way I feel seems to change every day. One day I'll be fine, then the next I'll be dealing with a lot of cramps and the start of what seems to be the contractions. Yesterday we ran two errands and that did me in and we had to go home right away. Thankfully it didn't last long though. Today was the first day of school, which after yesterday I was nervous about. Thankfully, no cramps or contractions and I felt good, just a horrible backache (not low) and my feet and neck are killing me. There seems to be no way to predict how I'm going to feel or to connect it to anything. I go back to the perinatologist Friday for another ultrasound and cervix check. I'm crossing my fingers that all is well. If my cervix has changed, it will probably mean bed rest. My kids parents weren't overly happy about me being out for 12 weeks (what do they expect? I can't believe some of their reactions!), so I'm sure me being on bedrest wouldn't sit well! It's funny being that they have all had kids!
