which carrier did you like better? mei tai or moby?

or is there another you'd recommend? i have a new native from my first ds but i'm looking something that is more upright

I love woven wraps but I also really like my baby hawk mei tai - either is a great choice for a newborn! The mei tai will be more versatile in the long run as you can use it for back carries and it will be more supportive for an older baby. The moby will be "cozier" for a newborn.

Those are my favs, moby for the first 6 months and mei tai since. I'd get a mei tai and make a moby like stretchy wrap, they're easy.

We use both now but if I had to choose I'd go with the Mei Tai.

I liked a stretchy wrap for the newborn to 6 month age and a mei tai for 6 months and beyond.

I second this. I can't really speak for a Moby (since I've never actually used one), but I love my woven wrap, and my mei tai comes a close second.
